Timeslide can be seen as a thought-experiment about the questions haunting human life we usually ignore to cheat away madness, and about the answers which could possibly cure them and us. Bereft of a national or a race identity, of a defining gender, even of the memory of the past, banished from the narrative of collective life of which each and every personality is a but momentary node, stripped of all these prefab constructs and left adrift in the quantum ocean of possible solutions, how do I define myself?, how do I derive from my self-definition, a sense, a purpose, all the things that together constitute a coherent identity, what am I really doing?: Am I manifesting some sort of truth about a real, ultimate Self?, or am I just writing narrative, the sophisticated novel of a fictional self?
